Dr Sunita in her own words: “I believe that yoga stretches are the best for Marathoners. I’m advocating this as a qualified coach (National Institute of Patiala) & a qualified Yoga teacher from Vishwayatan Yogashram, J&K.”

“1993 when I was preparing for Berlin Marathon…my Marathon (42.2km) fitness was 2.40min and I did my PB 2:43:33sec in Paris Marathon bagged 10th position, overall women.”

Dr Sunita became the first Indian women to be in 10 positions in Europe.
